Gregory E. Adams, CTP CPCU
Treasury and Risk Professional
Hello,
Did you know that I invested company cash per the investment policy and contributed over $6,000,000USD to the bottom line? To learn more about my professional achievements, visit https://www.linkedin.com/in/gregoryeadams/
Now that I have your attention, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Greg and welcome to my website! Please don't call me Gregory because it will make me think that I am in trouble!
I enjoy new challenges in life. So, I thought it would be a good learning experience to build my own website. My research shows that less than 5% of individuals have a "little piece of the internet" that they call their own. Also, I thought it would be a way to show that I am more than just a "numbers person." I am a problem solver, creative, detailed oriented, a quick learner and enjoy technology.
I launched my career in accounting; however, I often felt that I could contribute more to the bottom line of my employer by another type of role. I felt like all I was doing was reporting financial results almost like a score keeper at a ball game. I wanted to be a player on the "business ball field" making the decisions that impact and protect my employer and not just report them. So, I moved into treasury and risk management where I can effect the bottom line. In this role, I am an individual contributor as well as a member of a larger treasury team.
Some of my areas of expertise include analysis, controls, budgets, cash flow forecasting, banking administrator, expense reduction, audits and reporting.
Additionally, please look over the various tabs to learn more about my background. Here I hope you can learn a little more about me as a person in addition to my professional background.
Outside of my career, I enjoy family, yard work, Nascar, wood working and nature. Look on the PHOTOS tab for a few pictures! If you are viewing this on a mobile device, please be sure to click on each of them to see the comments.
Enjoy yourself and thanks for visiting and feel free to send me an email with your thoughts and any questions.
